BAER Construction, L.L.C. is proud to show an example of interior work that we have completed for clients. It has been an amazing and emotional experience to see this family return to their home and there was a celebration that included much of their extended family. The house was turn key; clean, complete, and looked and felt like a brand new home. Working with this family before (David remodeled their bathroom prior to Katrina) and after the storm was always a joy. Many times David went above and beyond for Elaine and her daughter Christina because they were such wonderful clients. They trusted David and the remodeling process allowing each phase to unfold and conclude knowing that David was always working for their end goal, returning home. Thank you Elaine and Christina for helping us show that New Orleans is truly coming back one family at a time! |
                                       We gutted the home, treated the wood, cleared and cleaned the yard, built a "home" outside for the hot water tank thus giving Ms. Elaine a larger and more functional closet, removed and replaced the soffit and fascia, painted exterior trim, changed all doors and windows, replaced flooring with tile and Mohawk laminate in Hickory Coffee, installed cabinets and countertops and vanities, all trim, drywall and painting, and a cleaning service upon completion. All plumbing, HVAC, and electrical was coordinated though us and did not require the homeowners time, only her approval. The home was presented turn key.
Complete remodel in Metairie including custom kitchen cabinets, all drywall, painting, trim, doors, and vanities.   
 
Interior remodel, Kenner. Right before the remodel began the homeowners asked that the office/dining room space be opened up to create an open, elegant floorplan. The support system was assessed and several options were presented to the homeowners. The home already feels bigger and an upgrade was made to their chosen flooring to real wood to capture the elegant feeling that emerged from the new space. 
 
     
 
An addition/remodel. A slab was poured and approx. 400 sq feet was added doubling the kitchen and adding additional living space. A kitchen remodel was also done. 
The three windows were removed and closed as a new room was added behind the wall. You can see the new framing for these windows in the above photo. Track lighting, crown molding, new paint - ready to decorate.

Bathroom remodel. Termite and water damage behind the shower wall turned a change in fixtures to a full scale remode. The sliding window was replaced with glass blocks to allow light to come in but prevent leaking.

A cafe door provide privacy where there was none. 
Rich marble floors and larger base trim make a huge difference. 
A furniture style vanity, metal sink with matching fixture, hand painted mirror and backsplash make the space unique. 
Custom crown molding. 
The faux finish looks like leather/paper.
